hi!! my name is gabriel, people call me gabe. i've been on the internet too long and i don't know if i can get away anymore but that's fine!

i'm an artist who occasionally likes to pick up brand new skills i will use maybe 5 times and then never again. i'm hoping to make website stuff not one of those! beyond that, i write, make music, play video games, read, and spend time with my friends. i really love metal, j rock, and breakcore. i like cool robots and big monsters, and bugs are my favorite creatures on earth ever. i'm also a massive paleontology nerd and a valiant defender of modern art (and most forms of art, honestly)

some of my favorite video games in no particular order are rain world, final fantasy (especially 4 and 10), risk of rain, yume nikki, guilty gear, world of horror, hollow knight, hyper light drifter, off by mortis ghost, and pikmin. there are like five billion others i can list off onto this list too, but we'd be here all day. can you sense the trends in there by the way?

i've been on the internet for pretty much my whole life, and have been kinda bouncing between place to place. i hold a lot of fond memories of old webpages and forums i used to look at and trawl, and now i'm very happily making my own. i spent most of my early internet days playing freeware games and emulating early ps1, ps2, and dreamcast games, and grew up on deviantart. now i STILL love looking for freeware and emulating video games, so can you say much has changed, really?
